Gary Coleman’s Ex-Wife Shannon Price Fails Lie Detector Test About Her Involvement In Actor’s Death + Slams A&E Over ‘False’ Results

Gary Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price is facing renewed scrutiny after failing key questions during a televised lie-detector test about the late actor’s 2010 death.

In a preview of A&E’s upcoming special Lie Detector: Truth or Deception, polygraph expert and ex-FBI agent George Olivo tells Shannon she showed signs of deception when asked about her potential involvement in Gary’s passing. When pressed on the results, Shannon remains calm and responds simply: “False.”

Olivo, however, stands by the findings, telling her directly that he doesn’t believe she was fully honest and is “100% convinced there’s more to the story of Gary’s demise.”

While some of Shannon’s responses, such as whether she ever hit Gary or withheld help when he fell, came back inconclusive, the results have stirred renewed public interest in the case. Though Shannon was never charged, speculation around her role in Gary’s death has persisted for years.

In a statement to TMZ, Shannon and her legal team criticized A&E over the way they handled the special, saying:

“We were extremely disappointed with the overall experience of both the polygraph testing and dealing with A&E… From the beginning, it was apparent they cared more about ratings than finding the truth.”

The full episode is set to air this Thursday (July 10) on A&E.
